Cries of different struggles are heard at the vicinity of Mindanao State University, may it be the struggle of a student that lives in the city and has to stay late at school for projects then wake up extra early to commute; a boarder that has to do more than what is needed, to excel so that their parents’ effort for sending them to a good school from afar would be paid off; a working student that barely has time to sleep; a frustrated student that has been praying 10 rosaries a day just to graduate on time; and many more untold stories, hidden above the tan line—under the sleeves of the Iskolar ng Bayan.
Happiness is, and will always be a choice. Everyone struggles, not just you. So if you think about giving up, because you are tired of trying and you always wet your notebook with your tears containing the thoughts “nganong bugo man ko?” “grabe na man akong study nganong nubo ra gihapon kaayo akong grado?” I, the author of this blog, is one message away because I am also looking for someone with the same thoughts.
